The room was full of flies and we also had one cockroach. It is close to the Museum of Ethnology and this is the only reason why I stayed here. I wouldn’t come back as I dont think it is worth it! The room was so noisy and night and in the very early morning that I felt like I was sleeping on the streets. There was no Pho for breakfast. Staffs were very nice which made i bearable but they forgot to book my cab to the airport. It was quickly amended but still I had to wait 15mins for the cab. Overall, I will say at Somerset if I want to stay in this area.

I've been a regular patron of this hotel. More than 30 times to be exact. It offers good rated room, large rooms with basic amenities. Once I complained about pest problems and I think they took care of it. Short of 5 stars as the rooms sometimes reek of cigarette smell. You'll have to check it out before confirming the room. Staffs speak very basic English, which is more than enough. Good breakfast, especially noodles.

The hotel is located in a residential area, near the park. Scenery is a little bored but silence. Service staff is useful. Breakfast is included but if go around near the hotel, there are lots of local delicous foods.

歩いて3分のところに勤め先事務所があるので約1週間宿泊しましたが、期待以上のホテルでした。キングサイズベッドの部屋の広さはベトナム3つ星クラスの1.5倍、ワークデスクが備えてあり、木質の床は清潔で、バスタブがあり、お湯の量も十分。洗面設備はTOTO製で比較的新しい。無料の飲料水の側にはポットが備えてあり、インスタントコーヒーと紅茶も無料提供。部屋でのWiFi使用もフリーです。PCの収まる金庫も備え付けられており安心。このあたりはビジネス級ホテルの基本を押さえており、十分満足できるレベルです。さらにそんなに豪華ではありませんが、バイキング形式の朝食もフリーです。これで私の泊まった部屋は一泊70万ドン、税・サービス料なしです。他に60万ドンと90万ドンのクラスがあります。残念な点は、まずスタッフの明るい笑顔のようなホスピタリティは期待できません。どちらかというとつっけんどんですが、仕事はきちんとこなす、という安心感はあります。英語は心許ないので、解ってくれるまで繰り返し頼む必要があります。一週間くらい滞在すると顔見知りになって、打ち解けてくれました。バスアメニティも標準通りですが、タオル類はやや古びていて、あまり快適ではない。部屋は3階でしたが、夜間やや騒がしい。バスローブや室内スリッパの備え付けはありません。観光には向きませんが、ビジネス利用と割り切れば、コストパフォーマンスはかなり高いホテルと言えます。
